Teaching and Learning Modules aim to help teachers to deliver high impact child-centred classes with a strong focus on 21st century skills.

Modules

Introduction to Child-Centered Learning (Download Module PDF)
This 10 hour module starts with a 3 hour workshop which explores the relationship between child-centered education and 21st century Learning Skills. Participants will design a child-centered project for use at school, and plan, teach and evaluate a child-centered class of their own design during the school semester.

Child-Centered Learning: Classroom Activities  (Download Module PDF)
This 10 hour module introduces a wide range of different types of child-centered activity, and invites participants to look at how to integrate these activities as part of the curriculum and further engage and encourage their learners.

Child-Centered Learning Workshop Preparation: (Download Module PDF)
This 10 hour module reviews Modules 1 and 2, with a Focus on Learning outcomes, differentiation, and participatory training methods. Participants will have the chance to deliver Module 1 or 2 workshops to their colleagues in their own schools/nearby schools as a preliminary supervised training experience.
